Weis and ND
He said they had a great week of practice.
He said good things would happen and he was right. But.... ND produced 140 yards of total offense to 282 for UCLA with a walk on QB. ND scored off a turnover and a QB sneak. UCLA and its walkon QB had 7 turnovers to zero. Is ND really getting better? Ummmmm. Not quickly. I think Weis is putting a big smile on a team that has a very long way to go. Winning is good. This is still one of the worst teams in Div I-A football. Uhhh Clausen was 17-27 for 84 yards. Love that vertical passing game. 4.9 yds/ per completion. The longest pass completion was for 10 yards I believe. BAd. |

Call it what you want, but a win is a win. I know it dissapoints all of the ND haters out there. UCLA may be bad, but ND did this on the road with, YES, a very weak team. Charlie Weis will not quit on these guys and the guys will not quit on him. They are playing for pride. There are teams out there with 10 times the talent as ND that are not playing to their potential. They will continue to improve.
