"All Dogs Go To Heaven"

The day I lost my first baby girl, was a very hard day. I asked God to give me a sign that I had done the right thing and that she was alright. I stayed home from work. I started cleaning the house. Around noon time I stopped to have a sandwich. I sat on my recliner and turned on the television. I didn't care what was on but I saw that a movie was starting so I left it there to see what it was. What was the movie? All Dogs Go To Heaven. It was my sign.

Just take one day at a time and it will get easier. It will take many days, but it will get easier. I am truly sorry for your loss. Shadow is in Heaven now running around with other dogs just waiting to see you again one day.

I'm very sorry Doc. I feel for you. I know how hard it is. The first week is especially painful. It takes time to get over it. It's been 18 days since I lost my dog and I still get choked up at times when I think about him.

Words seem so inadequate to express my shared sorrow for the loss of your beloved family member. He is no longer in pain. Soon your pain will also fade.

"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached.

Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way.

We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan ..."

From a short story, "The Once Again Prince" by Irving Townsend

My condolances to you on the loss of a treasured member of your family.
