The Oceanside continues to be one of the highlights of the year from an interesting viewing and betting proposition, both races are great in different ways.

The first division is a bit more traditional event as it usually involves talented horses trying this distance or surface for the first time, this race has some talented sprinters and should produce a decent sort.

The second division is as deep a race as you will find, I think any one of 5 can win and while Dens Legacy is a deserving favorite I think Si Sage or Rising Legend both could win at much better prices, I suppose the best thing would be to watch and hope Dens Legacy wins with a PT, one of those others has a poor trip and the next time they meet cash at nice odds. I will probably play the exotics to a horse I like in the last race.

Trainer Doug O'Neill said he will scratch 2012 Best Pal S. (G2) winner Know More (Lion Heart) from the first division of Del Mar's opening-day Oceanside S. in favor of an allowance race on the Friday program...

This San Clemente sets up so well for Wishing Well its almost like she will be a wise guy horse but gotta figure event at 9/2 or so has a great shot.

While Iotapa is the horse to beat sure seems like a flier spot based that there is no 3yo fill program in Ca right now.
