you know I am 31 years old fyi so this is new ground for me. That just got my attention, when I heard that on Fox News. I am suddenly very concerned about the safety of our troops and citizens. Seriously.

I second or third that statement. If I were in Japan, I would be a bit more nervous. But not overly. Still, the man is nuts.

North Korea could destroy the US Economy/World Economy with an attack on China or Japan. That is the only real threat to the US. It is a big threat though. Crazy people do crazy things in the last days of their lives. I will be interested to see what happens in his final days.

China would squash him, but China would also be destroyed due to their population density and the damage that could be done with one weapon. I know you guys treat this stuff in a joking matter but North Korea is/has been a much bigger threat to the world than anything in the middle east. NK is the only country in the world that nobody has any intelligence on, very dangerous place. Unfortunately there is nothing anyone can do about it either. Nothing.

BR,
I do frequently "joke"..you're on to that.
But this time I'm being quite serious.
NK is indeed a threat, more so to Japan and SK than China.
China has supported NK for a very long time. It goes back to 1948-49, then Korean war era. (1950-1953).
They've supported this communist regime since they were similar until they decided to develop capitalist interests, and developed the fastest growing economy in the world.
China won't allow NK to wreck it for them.
China is the big player in this one. They'll reign in their rogue buddy and gain stature in the world community.
btw, NK doesn't have delivery systems to threaten China, whereas, China has far more nukes and delivery systems to squash NK if they wanted to.
China will be the "voice of sanity" at the table.
