Don't see this one competing in the Classic...deserves a shot though I guess.

I'm happy that you're happy.

He's a nice little horse. One of those that I always hope does well wherever he finds himself. I went back to watch the Derby to see his finish after I heard he was going to the BCC, and even though I didn't remember the silks or anything, I thought 'that 2 horse looks good, I have to remember to find out how he ended up.' Turns out it was Musket Man. He nearly got Pioneerof the Nile.

I think he has a much better shot in the Dirt Mile.

I do too. I would have bet him in there.

There are a couple stretching their limits here. I understand everyone wanting to compete in the Classic, but a Met Mile rematch would be worth the price of admission.

There is not one BC race, on the 2 day card that I would bet this slug in.

Best news I heard all day. This pita doesn't like him and even better calls a horse who has never missed the board a slug.

Looks likes a good bet to hit the board at 20/1 or higher to me

One of a few horses to come out of that Derby to run a good race. He has made a nice career for himself.

Musket Man is a very nice, mismanaged horse.

I resent you calling him a simple blob.

He's anything but simple.

If this "pig" is only a length or two off Quality Road (and Musket Man probably ran a better race in the Whitney than QR), I don't know how you can have such a high opinion of Quality Road.

I like this guy, a hard tryer, but I don't know how suitable he is for the classic. Especially because I thought he hung against Etched. At least that's the way it looked to me when I saw the race. I haven't watched the replay. Looked like he tipped out and was full of run, I thought he was going to go by but he seemed to just stall out after drawing even.
