he would have Barry Schwartz's silks in that case.

Boom Towner actually won his debut in a 5K MCL at Rockingham Park. I can't think of many better horses from the 90's who debuted for a nickle.

Del Mar Show trivia... name the BC Winner he defeated and the two graded races he won at now-defunct (at least for thoroughbred) tracks.

He beat Volponi on the Saratoga turf. His two graded stake wins at now defunct tracks would be HIA and Rockingham.

No, good guess though.. this photo is a bit older..

Here's a couple hints, it's from 2000... The inside runner was a very fast horse who set a Belmont track record as a 2yr old in his maiden race...

Kelly Kip on the inside? Outside horse is I think a Mitch Friedman former claimer who I can't for the life of me remember the name.

Very good... that's Kelly Kip on the rail.. and you're right about the outside horse too.. he'd later go on to win the Carter that year..

It's a two word name...
