Default fleet indian/english channel

don't see a thread yet for this gal, who extended her win streak--but not with an easy early lead. seems you can teach a horse new tricks.
and she IS headed for churchill...i know a poster insisted she wouldn't go, but she most definitely is headed to the distaff.

and english channel with some redemption.

todd pletcher is on a roll--just think if he trained the sheiks horses!

Deb, all we need now is for someone to teach Mike Luzzi the definition of a rabbit.

LOL, the owner says he wants them to go high 48-49, 50 at the highest and Luzzi's out there going 51. They need that Turner guy on him that rides BTN's rabbit...

I think after he almost stole one on the lead with Jade Queen, he thought he could do it with Icy Atlantic too. LOL.

Fleet Indian really surprised me yesterday. I didn't think that she would win this one. Todd Pletcher does yet another excellent training job...

I'm with Dustin....ole' Tommy Turner would have been going :35, 1:09, 1:34....and then Icy Atlantic would have been vanned off.

Between Luzzi slowing down a rabbit and Prado doing God knows what on Round Pond..

In today's published interviews, it seems to me that the trainer said what the horse needed was a LEADER, not a rabbit. A horse he could be certain he could tuck in behind, not a horse to run a fast pace.

Fleet Indian was very impressive yesterday. Balleto had the race won but she "wobbled" when she straightened out. But still lost. I hope Fleet Indian races in the distaff because it is going to be a good race. I was certain she was about 30% chance for the distaff but obviously I am wrong wrong wrong. Unless she gets sick, she is going to run.

That was after the race. Before the race the owner was saying they were expecting for much faser from him. I think this makes ECs race even more impressive.
