Default Arlington's Opening Card - Can't believe it

http://www.drf.com/entries/04/eAP04.html?rn=252807

9 horse DIRT fields.....holy crap.

For the record, I absolutely love a horse in the turf race, Tom Archdeacon. I had him in his last at Hawthorne where he absolutely exploded. I chased the hell out of this horse last year in his two year old season and the turf has done him something good. Not sure what the prices are.

I am hoping to get sick on Friday, not sure how I will be feeling.

I've already got the afternoon off. Going to spend it in the Million Room (by invitation from a friend or I would be sitting in the third level section B at the finish line). Tom Archdeacon, I won on him as well. And then there's Cicero Grimes, and the horse whose name John G Dooley messes up all the time -- Who Let the Cat IN (Dooley prefers letting the cat out) And a bunch of others as well. Should be a nice opening day.

He absolutely destroyed that field 9 days ago and even w/out seeing pps, looks like a likely single in the last leg of the P4. He ran pretty big against Birdbirdistheword last summer and he's a pretty solid animal.

Interesting to see Eoin Harty is running a horse opening day, hopefully with the polytrack he won't be the only big trainer running horses at Arlington that usually doesn't.

Harty has been stabled at Arlington quite a few times. I think he wasn't last year but was for several years before that. Unfortunately it seems like he takes up a bunch of stalls and never starts any horses.

Almost positive Harty hasn't had a horse stabled at Arlington for at least 3 years.
