General A Rod had 2 troubled trips in these TC races. I like how he re-rallied in the Preakness to get 4th. His best figure was in the FOY and has not surpassed that figure yet and well over due to beat it.

He passed a dying pacesetter in Pablo del Monte, and a never-shoulda-been-in-the-race Ring Weekend to make up a length and 3/4ths in the stretch. Some may chose to call it a re-rally, but I might suggest it may have looked more impressive than it was.

That said, Roman Ruler already has a Belmont winner in Ruler on Ice, and the bottom of the ped is fine, so distance shouldn't be an issue. So maybe. Good Luck.
