Where did I say that? You said he was a number 2 or 3 starter which is silly. I dont think that is worse than the idea that left handed ptchers have an advantage at Fenway Park like the delusional Red Sox fan believes though.

I guess it's more of a feel thing. You know what I mean? To me, he is like a baseball version of joe Johnson. The stats look good and he seems like a max guy but he just isn't.

me either. he's a one way bastid whose terrible attitude of thinking his **** tastes like ice cream, makes him intolerable. Think about it, how many cancer survivors who have pitched as well as he has, are cared about less by the fans than Lester ? JD Drew was more popular.

remember a guy named Nomar ? Fan favorite, loved by all, quickest bat in the league. It was him, Arod, and Jeter. that was the debate. The red sox offered him an unbelievable contract...but noooo, he had to be greedy. Could have been a career red sox, hall of famer, number 5 retired, the works. Instead he goes to arizona, starts doing roids, his body can't handle all the extra muscle and his bat speed slows, he breaks down physically, when they dumped him there wasn't a tear shed by anyone. This guy was the most popular red sox since Freddie Lynn, but his greedy attitude was not worth him being here. Once he left, the sox won the World Series. addition by subtraction. Get rid of the cancer. he ends up marrying some lesbian and will never see the hall of fame.

Have you ever met Jon Lester? Do you have any actual personal experience with him? If not why would you care?

I suppose Ted Williams was a bad guy too and they didnt win a World Series when he was there because he was surly? I guess Steve Carlton was a bad pitcher because he wouldnt talk to anyone?

And in what alternate world did Nomar Garciaparra play in Arizona?

no understanda ? try a little reading comprehension

Off season training ....goes to Arizona to work with conditioning specialist. comes to spring training looking like Muscles Marinara. Is on the cover of Sports Illustrated shirtless....quite the transformation. like the kind when you do few cycles of steroids. Is this clear enough. google the SI cover.

So when he was hitting 35 HR's as a 24 year old 165 pound SS we are to believe that he wasnt using any enhancers? I mean if the cover of SI is going to be used as evidence why not the the outrageous numbers as well?

had bat speed. quickest bat in the league. look at the pics from 1999 and 2000, and then look at that cover. Where'd that V come from? doin pushups and running with a bungee cord tied to him ? C'mon, look at his jaw. The lure of more money...

the Carbo homer after the 2 worst swings in history was way better than Fisks though Fisk'swas awesome.

We used to go to Mike Boddicker night every home start because he would walk once around the mound after every pitch ensuring a 4 hour game and plenty of drinking time before they closed the beer stands after the 7th.

Why in God's name to you put Lester on waivers then pull him back when he gets claimed?? Every team in the AL East denies they claimed him so if that's true what were they trying to accomplish by leaving him out there?

There are few guys left on this team you can root for. I never thought I'd see a collection of Red Sox guys who were more selfish than the famous "25 guys who needed 25 cabs" but this group has won the all time "Me Award" hands down. Bring on football, this team is unwatchable....

Almost everybody gets put on waivers. Teams claim guys not only because they want them but to block any potential trade. The team awarded the waiver claim is the only team that they can be traded to unless they clear waivers by having no team put a claim in for them. Very few guys are actually put on waivers to get claimed though I believe Alex Rios got claimed by the white sox a few years ago.

I think the attitude stuff is wildly overblown. They arent any good because many of the guys left arent any good especially on the pitching staff.
