Default Feeding methods of a top English trainer of the late 1590's

I guess spitting "strong" vinegar into the nostrils over and over - before the race - was the hop of the moment.





Blah, blah, blah, blah with all his views on conformation and breeding....skip over that part.


Found the following part mildly interesting ...








Blah, blah, blah about the Queen and her stable of 38 race horses and her two trainers.

Reminds me of the days i would ship on the NYRA vans with the Jamaicans smoking their spliff and blowing in the nostrils of their horses that were running later that day...
