Records were being broken all night long. At one point I had won 5 races in a row and was down about 20 bucks. It's nice to see them get some good horses.

Vernon track record holder sold to ron burke & co. He finished dead last beaten 27 lenghts in first start. horse looked lame in post parade but not scratched. Horse went off the favorite and was out of it at the start. Burke, Bartlett and nys judges screwed the public on this race at Tioga yesterday.

I saw the Hambo winner Market Share win the Zweig memorial today at Vernon. Sam Mckee was in town calling the races, and all the top drivers were there for the drivers championship. Ron Pierce had 3 winners and won the title.
And if that's not enough, on Wednesday we get BOTH The Boss and El Tigre. |
