I think it should be locked and we should all pretend we never saw it.

Point Given-

I didn't feel like re-reading the entire thread but I'm guessing there's a few posters who ate crow. I was with you on Jazil being overrated; maybe not the biggest ever, but he's now burned odds on money in two NW2Xs, so I think it would be very difficult to say he hasn't been overrated by the general public.

RIP ATS! since man among men beat empire faker, i guess id have to put my money on zippy chippy against him if they hada match race
You could also say Empire Maker beat AtswhatI'mploddingbout with a bad foot and a wide trip, which he did. The fact he got beat by Man Among Men in his 3rd start, as a green baby, looking at the grandstands is irrelevant, Man Among Men was a nice horse, and Ats surely never beat much better than him, anyway after that Sham Stakes they put the blinkers on Empire Maker and the result was his Florida Derby, Ats could NEVER run a race like that, he was a plodding, suck up piece of crap, the proverbial woulda, shoulda, coulda. Ats also finished 4th in the Derby, the distance challenged Peace Rules, who was also ten times the horse that Ats rat was, also beat him despite battling for a mile and a quarter. Empire Maker was a Classic winner, won 3 Grade 1's, was never off the board and he's a faker. What the hell did Atswhat EVER accomplish? Ten Most Wanted could have gone around the track again and he was NEVER getting by Empire Maker, watch the replay, he could only get as close as his neck and Empire Maker pulled away again when he saw him. I just don't get how you can diss a horse like Empire Maker with what he accomplished and call him a fake, while turning around and praising a hanging rat like AtswhatI'mtalkingabout!!!! Their not even in the same league in accomplishments or talent!

I don't think that there were too many people here (or any) talking about Jazil being a mortal lock or anything, so there isn't much crow to eat for anyone.

I think the point most were making is that you don't have to **** on another horse just because it's not the horse you like in a race. Most racing fans don't generally appreciate that.

people complain about speed, speed, speed and then diss Jazil.. If only there was top class action over 12f like the good old days..he'd do extremely well. Invasor would still probably smoke everyone though at 12

If he would have ran 12fl today he would have gotten beat by 20.

He was up and down while Corinthian was incredible

Hes 21 years old. He'll learn that there are better ways to talk up a horse like Corinthian and diss a horse we all knew was going to be badly overbet.

I give him kudos for being able to identify that Jazil was a bad win wager today. I wouldnt say he had zero chance but in my opinion at 4/5 he was one of the worst win wagers I have seen this year.

This guy took the obvious horse to beat him and put up a lot of money and got paid.

Maybe next time, he will do it in a more likeable way like Mermaid does.

PS- What was up with the King of Jazz being 7/2? Who is the King of Jazz?

A couple of Brother Derek's '06 performances were very overrated....however, he's a little better horse than Jazil....whom he dead-heated with, for 4th, in the '06 Derby.
