i think it's worth discussing.

Are you saying that trainers would never do something like squeezing another race out of a horse, or are you saying you know asmussen would never do that?

At least you have momentarily ceased referring to yourself in the third person.

There is always something for which to be thankful.

OMGZ!!!!1!11!!!!

Bring Grits back and my life will be complete.

Yet another fascinating exchange involving my buddy BBB, wherein he lashes out at anyone with two eyes who can see what is really happening while offering nothing besides over-the-top rhetoric big on pomp and as usual, extremely short on substance.

Well played DaHoss. Now I must tend to structuring my 1x1x1x1 late pick-4 at Arlington that I fully expect will pay five digits.

I shall tell you all what ticket I came up with either later tonight or on Monday, as only the best do.

I want to say I love you for that, but that would be incredibly gay of me.

So, lol will have to suffice.

What is wrong with you guys? Are you the same four smelly old guys I saw arguing at the OTB last Friday afternoon?

I said the Breeders Cup or Cigar Mile, grade 1 races that I figured the connections could be aiming for. Should we take a poll? Is there anyone that thought Tiz Wonderful, off of a tendon and an up the track finish in the Jim Dandy was pointing towards the BC? No way.

So, since you are on the up and up with Asmussens intentions, maybe in between your fantasy plays, you could fill us all in on what Asmussen was doing. Because to me, and a lot of people it seems like he was trying to get one more in before he HAD to retire.

Hoss..Looks like you have been studying Satan's posts....I see his style being melded into yours

I use MSPaint to make my picks. What up, son? Step into the 1980's and get with the times, BBB. Construction paper and markers are for the graveyard crew.

what he actually is is a drive-by poster. out of the blue he drives by, windows down, machine gun wailing indiscriminately at whomever happens to be in the way.

What I enjoy the most from BBB's appearances is when one of his internet boyfriends comes to his rescue.

OMG, ROR.....
I remember that from NOLA.com. I actually was at The Fairgournds that day, Donnie Meche wouldn't ride the horse, Ramsey Zimmerman picked up the mount, and he decidedly won, can't remember the horses name, but I remember the whole thing.
Then I go on NOLA and this whole thing about buzzers and other ridiculous stuff. People there believed him.
Trust me if a buzzer was found in the parking lot, or if there was even a rumor of it the whole paddock gang would have known,
Stuff like that is why I hardly ever go to NOLA board.

Where's that thread, I need a good laugh.

And yeah the 3rd person thing is weird...still does it on NOLA and the recaps, very weird.

You're not arguing, you are attacking. On most well-moderated boards, this kind of crap wouldn't be tolerated. I think that you guys are taking advantage of Steve's hospitality.

He's a hit and run artist who offers nothing but cheap shots here.
give it up man.

i've finally relegated ronnie into the pg1985 category, except that pg was just kind of young and naive, so he's relatively harmless.

he certainly was a stupid one though, wasnt he?

Very interesting, this was a completely different accusation of buzzer use. Sorry, I didn't think there could be 2 accusations of buzzer use....silly me.

And yeah we were there on Xmas eve as well, I remember that race too. It was a horrendous day, we ended up leaving the weather was so bad. I don't remember any rumors of a buzzer that day either. It's a very social group at the paddock bar.

Later in the spring was the race I was referring to and the same explaination came up on NOLA after the race that a buzzer was used. Similar circumstances although I don't think the horse was 70/1, but paid off very nicely. Wish I could remember the horses name. I'll think of it.

Ridiculous to even suggest in print on forums that a buzzer was used by analyzing race results., not even having been there or watched a replay....

Like I said things like this is why I avoid NOLA, it used to be fun there, and lots of locals when The Fairgrounds is running.
