Default The most interesting race on the BC card(s)...

The Damascus, after the Classic.

As much as I can't stand this group of three year olds, it should be interesting seeing the return of Into Mischief, Gayego and Georgie Boy all in the same race.

Why she keep trying that Dancing in Silks going 7f? What am I missing ? Guess she is counting on speed bias stretching him out. This lady that trains Georgie Boy has probably moved into a house with him by now. I mean that horse is her life. Be surprised if he doesn't win at low odds. THAT IS HIS DISTANCE.

2 of those 3 are glorified sprinters.

It's weird than that they'd be running 7f.

Understood, but their connections are going to point them for the Strub series where they will show their true colors.

The first race in that is a G1 at 7 furlongs, what a dumb placement that would be.

Default BC singles and tosses

Just incase there aren't yet enough BC threads, who are you tossing?

Who is a lock?

Play nice in the sandbox kids.

My single is Cocoa Beach, still working on my toss list.

I think the two best singles on the Friday card are in the juvy races:
Stardom Bound in the juvy fillies, and Laragh in the juvy fillies turf.

Of horses that will probably take some money, I think Intangaroo is a toss in the Filly and Mare Sprint. She appears to be much better on the dirt than synthetics, and if the race sets up well for her in terms of pace, it will also set up well for Ventura, who I like a lot more.

I would not be stunned to see Ventura hit the board, but I would be stunned if Ventura won. That horse is gutless. Easily the toss of the 2 day card for me.

If I had a single it would be Midnight Lute(I have 75% of my money on him.) I have cover bets. So, it's not considered a real single.

M LUTE(8/1)+ KIP DEVILLE(7/1)= 71-1
M LUTE+ W'THESCRIPT(10/1)= 98-1
M LUTE+ GOLDIKOVA(9/2)= 48.5-1

Covers:

STREET BOSS(7/2)+KIP DEVILLE+ GET FUNKY(14/1)= 539-1
STREET BOSS+W'THESCRIPT+ GET FUNKY= 741-1
STREET BOSS+GOLDIKOVA+ GET FUNKY= 370-1

FIRST DEFENCE(12/1)+KIP DEVILLE + GET FUNKY=1559-1
FIRST DEFENCE+W'THESCRIPT+ GET FUNKY=2144-1
FIRST DEFENCE+GOLDIKOVA+ GET FUNKY=1071-1

She's run well on 2 different synthetic surfaces and should get plenty of pace to run at. What am i missing? Are you sure you are thinking of the right horse?
You only missed the fact she's working particularly well on the Pro-Ride. To me, both Intagaroo n' Ventura have a huge chance to win it. Seems like, every time I think something like that in the B.C., the chalk draws off to win easily.

Yeah, that's the horse all right. Her loss to Diamond Diva was one of those all time great pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory you'll ever see.

I think she's overrated, but does manage to make noise every race. I think there are some fillies in here that are much better than what she's faced sprinting before, so I just don't see her winning.

I will preface all that though and say I'm terrible with synthetic form. Also, watching synthetic races, I feel like I still cannot get a handle on what I'm seeing.

I totally disagree - Intangaroo has a great shot. The pace of the race suits her to a tee and I don't see where she has issues with Artificial Surfaces. IMO she is a must use in exotics.

To me, the easiest toss is Carriage Trail returning in less than three weeks off the huge effort while lugging out badly
