Correctly try to beat the chalk and get zapped by a 17:1 shot that the chalk had buried last out. ha ha ha

****in' crapshoot at MTH. yesterday NOTHING was holding, today, apparently, with the quitter 2 wiring (when the favorite didn't break), it's a speed track. 10:1 wasted.

Good Hit, Math

Thanks guys.

Fats, I just thought between the big drop and lack of speed in the race she was the play. Obviously it helped when the favorite broke poorly.

I know, man. I'm just venting. The 2 was my 3rd choice and I got too cute, as usual, trying to make a limited play, rather than just boxing the 3 horses for a nice exacta and tri. This was a blown opportunity. Especially since the 11 doesn't like to win.

CRc R1:

exacta: 8 / 1

1st 2 turn baby race of the year at CRc

I'm tri keying that one(marsh over your round/windward isles). Turned into a nice race on soft turf, with the ml favorite, Spice Route, being scratched.

Off the turf at SAR, CRC, MTH, and most of WO. Nice day for betting, with the slop (and the speed bias at MTH).

Actually, that may not be the best play, as the tri payout will be very low(your round won't be his 15-1 ml odds) I may just play Your Round

Any strong opinions at Woodbine, race 7?
