I dislike Baffert as much as anyone but this is so the wrong way to do it.

I have no problem with people suing him...but I’m pretty sure they will be unsuccessful.

Right...it’s going to be a big waste of time. The latest one is suing Churchill also saying Medina Spirit shouldn’t even have been allowed to run.

Well I’m not sure what the goal is. They are never getting any money back. Churchill isn’t paying them and neither is Baffert or Zedan. All they are doing is getting publicity for themselves....which for some is probably the goal.

Baffert has been allowed to push the envelope for too long at this point. The only way he is put in check is for tracks to actually punish him when he spits in their face and pretends rules don’t matter.

If he can do what he does and make himself more successful than any trainer in history while making tons of money and happiness for his owners and only suffer minor slaps on the wrist, i'm sorry but there is just no reason for him to stop.

I've bet this sport for many years always believing cheating was going on. If Baffert were banned for life tomorrow, I'd continue to bet just like I always have and I'd continue to believe that people in the game were cheating. To me, Baffert's just a bad cheater cause he keeps getting caught while others are good enough to know how to not get caught.

Maybe tracks should just make Ol' Bob use riders from Grants Pass to level the playing field.
