Does Anyone Know What Happened To The Super. I Watched The 6 Come In 4th And It Shows The 1, And The Drf Chart Shows 6 4th Dq? Doesnt Mention A Dq.

Default War Pass Race

Was Anyone On Track To Watch This Race? Was I In The Twilight Zone, Or Did I See The 6 Finish 4th. Was There An Inquiry For 4th? Why No Mention In The Results. Highway Robbery Or What.

This is odd. I am looking at the Equibase chart and it definitely shows the finish as 5-3-2-6, yet the track payout for the Superfecta is given as for a 5-3-2-1 finish. Did the placing judges blow it? Or did equibase type it in wrong?

The 6 crowded the 1 into the fence, looked like the 1 horse came within a deep breath of going over. 6 was disqualified. Pretty scary.

The 6 crowded the 1 into the fence, 6 was disqualified and the 1 moved up. They showed the inquiry/replay.

I agree. Right now, there are few 3YO's fast enough to keep up with him, if he's loose at all or gets even reasonable fractions on Derby Day, I believe he can carry that speed the extra furlong needed.

It isn't listed on the Beyer leaderboard on drf. Lowest Beyer on the list is 95.

Hmmm... seems low then. Don't know the 8F/9F split at the "new" Gulfstream but typically 1 mile @ 1:36.38 should equate to about 1:49.20 at a mile 1/8 at similar size tracks (like AQU outer, so 12 4/5 for the extra furlong). So .3 faster than the FoY, or about 2 lengths, so maybe 4 Beyer points.

Sunday was the first time I have been able to watch War Pass race and I was extremely impressed. War Pass seems to be so far ahead of everyone it isnt even funny. It is amazing how much this horse has accomplished just on his raw talent. I look forward to seeing him race the next time out.
