I agree, there was no way the 5 moves past the 7. I think they were debating moving the 2 down, if anything.

Agree with you as well, if anything it was between the 2 and 5.

You've brought it up now a few times and I'm wondering what it was about Solis' ride that you didn't like on Yankee Bravo. It looked quite good to me and considering he had about a furlong to get past the eventual 2nd place finisher I just don't see Solis as the one to blame.

Not trying to be a wise ass, just interested.

Good one.

One step at a time for me still. I very rarely venture into Tris.

You are right, he was clearly the best of the rest after nearly pushing the 5 over the rail.

The 5 was not beating him with a clear trip.

Horse is loaded on the backstretch, and he holds him back n' stays on the rail(lookin' for his safe n' perfect trip where he comes off the rail at the top of the lane.)This ain't Anita.THIS TRACK ISN'T ALL THAT WIDE IN THE STRETCH.So,the chances of him getting out to make a wide stretch move (midstretch)weren't gunna be good.Of course, the horses all stayed pretty much bunched, and so he couldn't get outside top of the stretch. Now he has to wait for PYRO to get thru(before he can get thru.)You're asking him to make multiple runs in the race, now,and against the leading 3 year old in the country.Trust me,this is a very competitive horse, and when he saw Pyro get away,I think the horse stressed a lil. You're asking him to run down the best 3 year old in the country(and from almost a dead stop.)I will tell you one thing. If he didn't get hurt, then this horse is gun break some hearts.Because that was zero pace, and in the derby he will get pace.IF HE DIDN'T LUG OUT FROM INJURY,THEN LOOK OUT.I AM PLAYING HIM FUTUREBET if he is o.k. coming out of this race. It's a damn shame that SOLIS has this mount.I will hope he has a minor injury, and can't ride him in the derby.I'll take TALAMO,NAKATANI, but mainly bring on dat Rosario...paleeeze....Fact is the guy had a loaded gun on the backstretch..saved it in hopes of a perfect trip....slow pace hurt........should of got no worse than 2nd.Solis n' Tyler Baze are only good enough to beat you. They aren't good enough to get it done for you.The former is much easier for these 2 parasites.
