If your dad knew you were on an internet site trying to hawk playstations, how many pieces would he break you into?

Default The Seattle All Star Excuse Handicap sub-thread

#1 I Can't Drive. ML 20-1. Same story every time. Needs new jockey. "But if I did it'd be a BMW!"
#2 Lost Forty Pounds. ML 15-1. However gained back 50. "Not my fault, I asked Mom to stop buying Ding-Dongs by the case!"
#3 She Left Me. ML 3-1. Again and again and again. "Hey, I just text messaged her and we're having a Sea Bass lunch tomorrow!"
#4 Bills to Pay. ML 10,000-1. No one taking any action on this one. "Really I do! I have cousins who need Twinkies too!"
#5 Mother's Little Helper. ML 6/5. Obvious contender. "So what if I'm 26 years old! I still like to lick the spoon!"

it's odd to me that seattlespamstar's absence coincided with Balleto's
I'm still not convinced Jerry and his brother didn't put bras on their heads
and concoct her on their computer down in the basement
If you ever get the chance, shower with them. I did. Mmm, it's a mindscrambler.

Stop acting like a "Blockhead"! Act like a normal human being. You wanted attention and you got it.

Pias is right. This is not the board to sell things. I know you started the thread for attention because of all the hubbub about the stupid machines.

Can someone explain to me why Sony is selling the PS3 at a loss of almost $250 per unit so that people like Jerry can make money off selling them on ebay? How does that make any business sense?

Whats absolutely comical is that the retailers themselves are losing money on every ps3 they sell.

Skippy: Is that right? What would be the purpose? I understand that there are flaws in the damn things anyway!

Timm it is right, at least at walmart. I have a friend that is a store manager for one and each PS3 cost the store 602.75 so granted its not a huge loss but if you multiply that out over a good deal of stores it starts to add up. His store recieved 6 last night and had over 100 people in line.

As to why your guess would be as good as mine. Maybe while saving their place in line other family members would shop.... Maybe people buying accessories, your guess would be as good as mine.

Judging by the insanity of society in attaining the "trinkets of Christmas", I will guarantee multiple people will be assualted coming out a store or carjacked by someone following them away from a store! Kinda dashes the Whole Spirit of the thing, doesn't it?

been going on for years. i remember years ago when cabbage patch kids were all the rage. mommas out there beating the hell out of each other trying to get a stupid, ugly doll for their kid.

but then, i never feel the urge to rush out and get something right away. i haven't bought madden '07 yet, still waiting on the price to go down!!

Jerry,
this is as bad as hotels in the south bumping up the rates during the hurricane Katrina disaster.
in some instances, it is illegal.

you want to bet DCat, then fine.
I'll be playing the Aqueduct and Hollypark cards every day next week also. lets handicap it together.
but build the bankroll some other way pal.
just got back from SAM tonight.
first time I had been there since I got back from IL.
it kicked my as* besides a late pick 3 that I hit.
let me know if you are playing SAM at all next week.

most of you will be happy to know, that this whole PS3 has blown up in my face. They are not selling like I thought it would, im going to just end up keeping one for ourselves and return the rest. Plus we take a loss for paying people to wait in line for us.
