You have never liked Dublin, when you first came here you bashed him.... Now your stuck bashing him. Dublin is at the very top if this class, I and strongly beleive that.

we disagree about what is horrible trip is. he moved prematurely, but he also had nothing left when it counted. hes a closing sprinter.
Keep taking shots at me... Does it make you feel better about your shitty opinion? I dont ever remember a year where I said only 3-5 horses can win the derby, of course everyone likes a few horses every year but even last year I thought anyone could win, this year is different the top 3 and even 5 to some extent really stick out.

Just about any day spent watching a card at GG, for example, pretty much cements this opinion. When all jocks ride like Dominguez, I'll certainly change my opinion.

Instead of playing the victim, you really need to try and understand why Noble's Promise ran better than Dublin (and Lookin at Lucky) in the Rebel.
Whether he needed the race and figures to go forward is really not the issue.

He also probably got the ride he did because they felt Super Saver was the one to beat, and didn't want him to get an easy lead, which is all reasonable thinking, but you ultimately have dance with proverbial girl that got you there, and in the future hopefully he will be farther from the lead early.
His allowance win he was hard ridden pretty early in the race. He was in a drive for the greater portion of the race in fact.

i think you could probably substitute dublin for ice box and apply this post to yourself.

the fact is, dublin has done little to prove your opinion of him. i actually like dublin, but think he is a sprinter. to be at the top of the class you need to be winning races. he isnt right now.

sure i understand all that. i also understand that nobles promise ran much better than dublin did and is getting about half the talk. on top of it all, nobles promise was making his first start off a freshening and first time on dirt.

do you think dublin is one of only 3 horses that can win the derby right now?

I think Ice Box sucks. I think he won a bad edition of the race and wont make any noise in the Derby.

maybe not. but if given the option of betting him or dublin in the derby, i will go with ice box. he at least has two wins going two turns.
