OMG..He can't beat that out? Cripple. That's a gift. Deserved to get beat, but we're 18 games over .500. Tulowitzki could use something strong to get through the night. Whatever they gave Ariza in the 3rd quarter of game 3.

Someone should buy that pot smoka Lamar a pinata full of candy. That was a huge effort. You see how much candy that guy eats? That's pretty funny. Says life is short. Eat as much candy as you can.

LOL, Troncoso manned up twice against the Cubs. Threw some nasty sliders to get some minor leaguers to whiff. If both he and Belasario stay men, then look out. We have got 2 middle relievers(hopefully,) and a talented(but trans-like) closer. Starters have done their job the whole way. If we can get on a roll with these 2 relievers, then we can go to the post with this here. They both are getting better now. Joe could tell Troncoso had his good stuff tonite, and just kept going with him(despite getting in trouble to start the 9th.) Baby bear fans weren't very happy (it did look like they were gunna take it with any kind of decent contact.) 2nd n 3rd, and 1 out. Just needed fly ball to tie, but they both go whiff'n(bitter-bitter please don't hit her.)

13-6 w/o manny - joe maybe doing his best job ever with these bunch of dodgers !

lose Manny and ho-hum - i was thinking maybe 20-30 w/o manny, now it maybe the other way 30-20

9 game lead in the NL west - Joe may have to make multiple stops in NY in oct - 1st citifield and then the new yankee stadium (of course it won't be as an announcer for fox scuds)

don't worry there will be plenty of spaghetti for old joe , even one of the restaurants i go to has not forgotten saint joe , they still have the "pollo joe torre " on the menu , its pretty good scuds , bet you can't get it in LA with all them TOFU places around out there

Got a couple bad calls today in the 8th. That's o.k. Feel sorry for the Cub fans. They needed a win to start the weekend. If you only get 5 hits, then you should lose huh? They still were giving us a shot to tie though. 3rd baseman gave us 4 outs. Cubs need to get better on the fundamental stuff. I'm pretty much used to Pierre doing that late in games. He's been o.k. in run-away games, but he has failed routinely late in games with men on base. TRADE THAT CHOKE WHILE HIS AVERAGE IS UP. In the post, that's exactly the type you don't want playing for you (you want the opposite.)

and it i'll be great when hank gets in a fight with 2 dodger fans in an elevator just like his father in '81 - only this time they'll end up with broken ribs out there at in doderland - would be a great world series if we BOTH can get there - could you imagine the trash talking on here , we may have to bring someone out of retirement to really get you going scuds

That guy for Cleveland was pretty frustrated. Don't know his name. Something weird sounding (like a-s-s dribble Cabrera, I think.)

Got the split from the baby bears. That's a 5-2 road trip. Belasario n' Troncoso are the two that are still bridging for us. I guess Kershaw is gunna help give them some rest. Monday's a big day for us. Kuroda is coming back.

Jesus Gales! Talk about extremes, he was a bust 3 games into the season and now he has carte blanch until the playoffs. So you are saying that if has a repeat of April down the stretch in September you will not be on here burning up the thread with how he's the bigest bust ever, just like Scuds said he would be?

careful - i may have overreacted as a fan 3 games into the season and said he was a bust, he has shown that april was a bad month and may was agreat month

scuds never said bust - he was talking about the contact size and what he specifically did not do to earn it (the same case can be made for a-rod)

to me if tex and a-rod carry the yankees home in the postseason then every dollar was worth it , if they both do disappearing acts in key clutch spots that both have done in the past in the postseason then they and yankee fans will consider them failures

see to play in NY and take the $ you have to produce in the big post season spotlight , A-rod has carried the team in may before and then had to bat 8th in the lineup because he totally lost it in oct that year

if you ask any yankee fan right now about A-rod's tenure in the bronx is it a passing grade or failing grade - the only answer at this point is failiure , he has to win a world series

tex now falls into the same category he has to win a wrold series

the pitching can carry them there this year, but 1 of those 2 is going to have to be a game changer (ie puljos) in the big spot in oct
