Syracuse is worse because the Army guys at least have to go to class and get real jobs when they are done.

Can someone answer a question for me?

Why would the raiders take a 6-6 265 lbs QB with a cannon for an arm and put him in an offense where he is doing short slants and three and five step drops?

Because they are the Raiders.....

More likely though that given how early it is in Russell's career that the "walk before you run" mentality of pass plays could be the thinking.

.......but then again I just used "thinking" and "Raiders" in the same sentence so go figure!!

There were alot of people in this boat with you tonight Phil so don't take it so hard. Russell had no time, receivers with hands of stone and a defense that made Denver look like offense of the future. The kid never had a chance but yes the Raiders are pure dreck

pretty amazing when the raider history is "lets go vertical" and stretch the field.
