They're basically just a reference point. You use them to know where to go to disect a horse's races.

Here's a suggestion for DRF (or any of the data providers); and this applies only for the ONLINE version:

combine a graphical history of each horse's races with other relevant textual data (workouts, breeding, etc.)

I know I'd buy something like this (assuming the data would be just a bit more accurate, of course)

This would, among other things, let us actually see the 'form cycle' of horses that all the numbers guys are constantly referring to.

This would go a long way towards 'revolutionizing' handicapping.

still trying to make sense of the Brooklyn.

Theres a romantic notion that Sightseeing is going to relish the distance, and his too-little-too late style and cool trainer will win out. I just don't see it.

Nite Light , Delosvientos and Angliana are my contenders.

No mention of Moral Compass? Coming off of a win (not many in here with that on their records), a close 3rd in a G3 stakes before that, and ran well on yeilding turf at 2.

That said, this is a one-turn mile, not unlike the Woodbine races of Prussian, so this may be just up his alley. Don't overlook Dynhocracy, who has run well in previous turf races and whose his pedigree (Spend a Buck over Dynaformer) says he should be improving as he grows up. But 8f may be too short for him; his great-grandmummy Persian Tiara loved to beat up on the guys over marathon distances. I watched her win the 13f Seneca H-G3 at Saratoga in heavy ground back in the day.

Okay, my horses were 2nd and 3rd. Story of my life. At least they beat Hatta Fort.

Is this redboarding?

Gio Ponti was a stickout against these horses. Had you played it correctly, you'd have hit the triple.

ALmost there.

It isn't.

He liked Gio Ponti. Doesn't take away the fact that he's a huge douchebag know-it-all blowhard.

Another really nice race for Evening Attire...Congrats. Can't complain about 2nd in a grade 2 for a 10 year old.

He's had a few nice scores he's posted but it's just like for win only or some s.hit. He doesn't contribute anything in the way of pick 3 and pick 4. That wouldn't give him the opportunity to toot his own horn at the frequency he demands.
