Race 9
5$ tri
2 with 6,8,12 with 6,8,12 = 30$

1$ trifecta wheel
6 with 1,2,8,9,12 with 1,2,8,9,12 = 60$

1$ tri box
2,6,10 = 6$

2$ tri
2,6,12
6,10,12 = 4$

Leaving me a mere 38$ left of the pick 3 score.

best of luck everyone!!

thanks, was thinking of just plugging the winner in the top 2 spots, saving me 20$. Would have went nuts if he finished third.
Hope all is going well for the Tampa contingeny.

Had the 3 singled.Looks like(for the level) they went too fast up front(I know my horse was too close.)Gotta go like 8 deep to catch that 12.Atleast 6 deep.

The 12 was my second throw out in the race. Sucks to lose, but rather like to lose with horse you thought had no chance, than a horse you liked an didn't use

99% of the time, that is an automatic toss for me, as it was today.

Just got in from the Downs - Brutal.
R1)11 scratching in the first squeued the pace scenerio, but didn't think the 1 could dupe the form he showed at Haw last out over a wet/sealed track - the replay is impressive for a nickle and thought the bounce was eminent.
R2) was the shake of faith as 2 bombs get home and the second guessing beigns, but then
R3) cashed a 329.80 tri that covered a multitude of sins.
R4)gets Chris's Joy in for place which kept the P3 alive but dampened any thought of a 2 in a row tri run.
R5) was a complete miss- Marlo Flynn had the 10 Gibber's Gold dead nuts to win, but could not make any sense of the horse and excluded from P3's.. done.
R6)Single of the 8 Unfolding Wish turned out to be not such a wise guy play as we all had him - suprised to see the 3 Silverdina in the mix - a few bet back possibilities in this one.
R7) My lone bomb pick 'o the day(7 Ohio's Way 19-1) was nosed out by Souc's Mineshaft pick Indymine who got home @ 7-5 ... Used 5 here in the P4 to catch a 7-5
R8) Stayed alive here in the P4 with T. Richey's Two Spot Club, but never considered Super Slash who offered up a juicy 186.40 tri sangwich between the two logicals
R9) The end of the line...going 5x4 in the first two legs to catch a price and drawing neither, a single of 2 John's Song turned out to be the undoing and no match for Steinbrenner's Massaoit - clearly the class of the field, had to draw a line somewhere
R10) Where to start...12 horse field, used 5 of 'em and LOVED the 2 Spectular Crisis digging in a little deeper and the 9 More Advice both at huge prices... Could watch that race 1500 times in a row and still never had made a case for the 12 Deputized who got 'em all home paying 3,810.60 on 2 dead chalks and a logical second in the first 3 legs...I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Well,if I went 6 or 7 deep etc.,I was gunna use him, because he made a decent winning bid here last March(without much jock,)and tired going 7f.So,the problem really isn't this horse,it's not being able to get lean in the 8th.I'm 4 deep to hit the horse in the 9th.So,I needed to get lean in the 8th,and deep in the last.Didn't think that chalk in the 8th was a stand-out,but was the only horse doing anything late in that race.None of those horses in the last really give a ****.The 3 wins a quarter of his races, but he pulled the plug like a 1 for 30 horse.Kind of reminds me of last year at Tampa. The main was a lil tiring early in the meet.

Agreed Scuds.
In hindsight, the 9th was a 3 horse race, and a single was illogical. I tried to make a case for too many in the first two legs (all of which I felt were legit) but then again should have formulated a better opinion knowning how deep the last leg had to be, or not bet the play. As it was I used my original 4 picks (4 Crazybrook, 5 Bookmaster, 10 Little Paper Boat, and 11 Supahbuckdance) and added the 2 and 9 on further consideration..I purposely left Centeno's mount off at 7-2 because the horse made no sense and the furor over him winning 2 on the day and taking down the 6-5 in the last had folks betting him with "irrational exuberance" in my opinion. That left only 5 other options with the 1,6,7,8, and 12... none of which I could have logically made a play with...I haven't seen the replay did you happen to notice if the 11 pulling up had any impact on the field?

NO,the 11 PULLING UP DIDN'T BOTHER MUCH.What's weird is the massive kick from the winner.Just don't see that horse doing that very much.Usually,he is trying to hold on late.LOL..WHAT HORSE WAS THAT ?
