It is exactly two years ago this hour that the gavel came down on Chuck's purchase of Sumwonlovesyou... This thread is the record of the reaction, and everything that has happened since is in the Dee Tee Room somewhere.

As always, a warm thank you to all those that made the Stable possible and continue to make it go. 50+ people sent $500 each to buy SWLY and a year of excitement that brought us from Keeneland to Churchill, Arlington and Saratoga. And as of this week, that initial buy-in has the SWLY partners 'on alert' again for her further exploits!

FROM THE EARLIEST PICTURES... With T.C. AT TURFWAY UPON ARRIVAL

SECOND START FOR DEE TEE, FIRST AT CHURCHILL...

DARREN DATILLIO'S GREAT SHOT OF CHERIE AND SWLY JOGGING...

JOHN HUBBARD'S GREAT SHOT FROM SARATOGA...

I bet our girl would like a peppermint cake with two candles !

Lets see $ 500.00 (2-12-2007) in my 401k = $ 275.75 (2-12-2009)

Buying a share in SWLY and DeeTee Stable = PRICELESS !!!

I spent the day out at CDT, and saw Sumwonlovesyou. She is still every bit The Princess Pudgy and soft - but she got clipped yesterday, looks good, and she seems happy to be at the track again. No peppermints for the nipping girl.

Also saw Ryan take Rampillion out, and said hello to KNS. They both look good, Maggie is proud of how good KNS is looking.

I was talking to TC today, and reminded him it was the two year anniversary of the start of DT, and reminded him of the day that first picture, above, was taken - there was a terrible ice storm that year, too! We couldn't even take SWLY out of the stall at Turfway, it was so icy outside the barn. He remembers that.

So I said hello to TC from everyone at DT, and asked him if he had anything to say back to you guys at Dee Tee.

He said, "Tell them I wish I was in Tampa"

PS Ashley took some SWLY pics, hopefully she'll get a chance to post them.

Yes, I remember it well! What a great moment, in fact, one of the most thrilling moments I've had in horse racing.
