I do think the Chargers will be outcoached but not enough for it to matter. Belichick is almost better than he's given credit for since so much credit goes to Brady but Schottenheimer is nowhere near as bad of a coach as he is made out to be. The only concern is Rivers in his first playoff game but there is no better way to go into your first playoff game than with LT at running back. The Pats are overrated this year and the Chargers are a heck of a team. San Diego will roll.

I don't particularly like their chances in a close game so I think if they win it will be by a decent margin. The spread is just plain silly though. As much as I think San Diego will roll in this game it should be a Pickem not a 5 point spread. If you are betting the game play New England on the moneyline since you can probably get +200 or so on them.

the AFC games are going to be awesome to watch.....I have to go Chargers/Ravens...the bye week in this format is HUGE. and the Pats have to travel to the West Coast which makes it that much tougher for them.

I never bet against Brady. IMO this is a good game to pass on. In fact I think ill pass on the whole weekend and stick to the Big A. Good Luck.

I see this game ending in 1 of 2 ways...

Patriots win a close one decided by the last drive (probably a field goal), maybe even in OT.

Chargers come out smoking and win by 3 touchdowns.

No in betweens for me and I dont see the Chargers winning if the game says close. They just cant pull it out against Tom Brady and Bellichick if goes down to the wire.

That's exactly why I took the +190 on the Pats. I don't see much chance the Pats lose by less than 5 so there is no point in taking the points. The only reason to bet the spread is if you think the Pats are as likely to lose by less than 5 as they are to win.

The buyback on the Pats has begun. 4.5 to 4 at gametime. The last of the +200ML can be had now.

I was wrong. I never imagined a team could choke that bad. Pats are the best ever. Brady is great. Bellichick best ever. Blah blah blah.

Oh Randall good God if you call that free money... You live dangerously my friend that was a no bet. The Chargers could have easily blown them off the field.

Thats like the winner of a horse race getting DQed after proving to be much the best and you had the place horse to win. Thats called luck.

And you got to be able to identify that. I think Brady is an absolutely clutch QB, but dropped interceptions and pitiful turnovers made that game. San Diego was the better team but lost the game. And this is pro football.

Yes the Tuck game was luck. The game as 14 point dogs to the Rams luck, the Colts game luck, the 2 road Pitt games luck. They are just a lucky team. Who cares how they win, they win? At +200 they are free money. They would've covered the game at +5.5 whether they won or not. They are 3 point dogs in Indy right now. And they will be lucky there as well no doubt.

I dont care about past games I care about the present matchup. THis particular matchup was 4 points only because of the Pats history. Brady's 11-1 record pregame should have made the Patriots huge favorites. I did not have any stake in this game whatsoever. But I would never ever take the Pats if that game was replayed. They should have been blown off the field. San Diego is the better team (and I really was not sure which team was better before the game). I always try and bet the best teams knowing that I have the greatest chance of winning, but I also realize the best team does not always win on the scoreboard. After watching that game, it is clear to me San Diego is a better team that lost.

But good for you if that was easy money. I think that was hard earned money. I would have been sweatin.

And N.O. was the better team last night, but they didn't cover. And the Bears were the best team today, but they didn't cover. And the Yankees are best baseball team year in and year out but they don't win the World Series. Again, the only way to make money, just like horse racing is to bet underdogs. Find the live ones and bet them. The best teams lose all the time.

I have better luck finding better teams getting points. College mostly. But the pros occasionally. The biggest one this year in the pros for me (really my brother) was St. Louis getting points at Oakland. We wait patiently. Oh well you got the money, so you got the bragging rights. Congrats.
