I guess i don't understand this one. The #2 clearly likes the slop and could easily be a real race horse.

I think AK was squeezed by MMM and Monzon.

I hate Valdivia...maybe even more than Chavez and Luzzi.

Well. let's be honest, no one will ever top Luzzi in my book.

Well, all you had to do was bet the only horse in the field with a win in the slop, of course that was a maiden win and his breeding suggested 8 furlongs would probably be his limit...crazy TC year, three different winners is one thing three horses at these prices is another. 23 of 24 graded stakes for 3yo's won by different horses...this is enough to make me stick with Penn National.

Look at MMM. It didn't seem like he was going into AK out of nowhere. When they showed the head on in the Belmont recap show it looked like MMM broke fine as did AK, then Isn't He Perfect goes into MMM who goes into AK. Of course, if AK had been a little quicker on the draw at the break, he'd have not been in the position to get clipped in the first place. It just looked like Rajiv was trying to save ground, and that's what started it. I don't know that you blame Ramon for that one.

Clearly, Johnny V is not adept with these kinds of mounts. Most of his stakes wins have came aboard heavily favored Pletcher runners. I surely hope Barry Irwin replaces him with a real jockey like Robby Albarado.

Sadly, it will get dumber than this, but it won't be easy.

Waiting impatiently for your 44th post.

What happened 5 weeks ago in Churchill? Did the rest of the field lay down on purpose so Johnny V could win the Derby?

Have felt this way about Johnny V. for a while now...And i hated that he was the replacement for Robby in the Derby since i had a nice future wager on AK. Not very adept on come from behinders on the dirt for sure. Wonder what his ROI is over the years in Stakes? You people can think what you want but I'm allowed to have very valid opinions too! Andy and Andy are so blinded by east coasters it's pathetic on both of your parts!!
