![]() I was at Saratoga and due to reading this forum, kept a close eye on her wishing the best for her owners. The Equibase comment on her race read "3-4w turn, tired. Watching her stretch run she seemed far from tired to me. She was cut off just before the turn for home and seemed to pick up stride once given an opportunity to run. Thought it was a super effort being her first race back. Have since watched the replay including the head-on still looking anything but a tiring horse. The new post position should help along with Bravo if he can get a clear path.
Maybe some owners or people that saw her after the race could shed some light on this if I have misinterpreted her effort. Not sure how the other horses look, not having the past performances for her upcoming race. Well, best of luck to AC and her connections on Wednesday. |

as part owner (be it a tiny 1%) i found your comments interesting...i kind of saw her race the same way....hope springs eternal but this is a tough race...looks like speed from the inside with Untamed Glory and the outside with Valuable Lady (also trained by Gary), I'm A Personal Jet, and Simsational....favorite should be Queens or Better who might lay just off pace...i would think we have a better shot than the 30-1 would indicate...6f is a little iffy compared to 5 1/2f but race could break right for a mid-pack closing trip if the race falls apart...only thing is our filly seems to like the front end for her best race, but hopefully she showed a new dimension (as you point out) last out...it might be interesting and could be the key race in her career to see looms moving forward....will have to miss the race and watch replay as will be coaching some football at time of race...good luck and safe trip to all hud |
