Half way thru the early P4 at Hollywood and the jocks are complaining about the conditions.... Looks like they may cancel the rest of the card - how does that affect the P6 carryover? I assume that it will carry to SA even though it was a mandatory payout, but curious how that works...

I don't think they are complaining unless you have heard. The rain caused the track to get all hilarious they just said over the speaker.

P6 is mandatory payout, there is no carryover and it hasn't started yet

Tom - How does it pay out if it's never run? Are they going to pay out to all open tickets? If that's the case I'm going to get down on a fistful of 2$ tix before the call it

Nevahmind... ....Ruldolph kept talking about a carryover - must have been referring to Los Al...

Still a good question though - I guess they pay to all open P6 tickets whether it is canceled halfway through, or if it never starts...

And.... it's cancelled....

What I want to know is what is going on with the open tickets. I singled the 2 in the first leg of a P3 and I'm 2/3 left, so I assume I get all/all, thus the greatest P3 in history!

What the ****? that ticket got REFUNDED!

They paid out the DD as an all leg (R2 and 3)

Listen, it isn't like I lost money but this seems like it is sketchy, the race was already won, how could it be refunded?

Same w/ the P4 and they apparently are keeping the losing side of the wagers in the first two legs

- bet 54.00 and got refunded 35.40 -

Unreal - I know that if you spread 2-3 deep in the first two legs, obviously there are wagers that are dead - but if you don't have a chance to make the ticket - they ought to refund the total wager amount, since the wager never had a chance to pay, right? WTF is this sh1t?

I'm in a generous mood

8: 3,9,10,11,12 = 4.60 LOL
9: 2,9,10
10: 4,8,9,12

Will get back $62!

Update - they paid out to all/all in the last two legs - hence the low payout.

Further Update - Violates the CHRB rule and is being investigated by the Pari-Mutuel Committee of the CHRB from what I've been told.

The P4 should have been a complete refund per the rule on the books. They must complete 3 legs of a multi-race wager (Picks 4,5 and 6) before they can consol the payouts.

Screwed me out of 20 bucks - I guess they are just trying to get us used to the screwing we're going to get in takeouts at SA...

If that's the rule then you got the short end. I think it's a poor rule however.
If your two longest prices connected in the first two legs you probably would at least have doubled your money.
