Balance it out. Like so many things in life, there's a balance. You just need to make people aware of that.
Exactly. People need to know what Bobby Frankel did for Old Friends in his will. It causes me pain when something bad happens and veteran horsemen and women just frown and say 'it's a dangerous sport' or 'this kind of thing happens sometimes' and that you just have to move on. It sounds heartless. There's a gentler way to explain it.

People who can't actually have a horse can always donate feed to ReRun. Maybe a blanket. Send money for laminitis research or to Alex's Lemonade Stand. There's a lot they can do to participate. We need to encourage it. It's important to talk about the folks in this sport who take action themselves.

His 2yo season was one of the most disappointing I can remember in recent years.

I thought he had massive potential, but after his 2nd start, he never really lived up to what I thought he was capable of.

Roman Ruler was a bit more electrifying perhaps, but I think it's a stretch to say he'd shid all over Mo.

Would have been cool though to see him do that to Mo's fans (besides me).

Here's the latest from Tardwatch 2010

Barbara, what is equally as joyful as the bounce in Uncle Mo's step, his whinny of juvenile delight--are the smiles and the pride you've captured, seen here, in his handlers. He's a handsome fella surrounded by ones who, obviously, enjoy watching over him.

Hey Indian Charlie?

I just wanted to tell you that what is equally as joyful as the bounce in your step, the whinny of your juvenile delight--are the smiles and the pride you've captured, seen here, in the posts of your fellow Nerdy Trailers.. You're a handsome fella surrounded by us and we obviously enjoy watching over you.

Well that was kind of my point. It's not like Roman Ruler was anywhere close to great and he would smoke Uncle Mo.

I laughed when I read that. How terrible that photographers don't want their work ripped off. The nerve.

That one is just screaming for a "because you're a... " response.

I think my favorite was the "he looks so happy like "I did it!" post.

Stone Gossard used to speak of a place called Creedmore (sp).

For some strange reason these comments reminded me of that.
