Monmouth dirt, since English Channel wins the turf portion in a landslide, I'll throw Joey P out there. He's started 24 times with 13 wins, 5 seconds, a third, and a track record at 5 1/2F. And for good measure, he accounts for more than half of his sire's (Close Up) wins and 75% of his sire's total earnings.

![]() For Fair Grounds I'd have to consider Hallowed Dreams, who won six races there in a career that saw her win 25 of 30 starts and bank $741k. She was smoking fast and set the 6f track record at FG.
On second thought, I see that you credit HD to EvD. So, I'll throw in Mystery Giver, who was a terror on the FG turf. He won the Fair Grounds Breeders Cup three straight years and added the rich Muniz Hcp (now Explosive Bid) in 2004.

![]() I don't have any idea what her record actually is there, but wasn't Sightseek nearly unbeatable at Belmont Park?
I might be wrong....I don't have any hard stats in front of me....but I just don't remember her ever losing at Big Sandy. |

![]() I gotta go with Outcashem at Charles Town. That horse won like 10 straight races in incredibly quick times a few years back.

![]() Joey P. has also run a couple nice races in the last few years for inflated slots purses at Charles Town. Think he actually came close to setting a track record there last year.

![]() I'd give Oaklawn (and Philadelphia) to Smarty Jones. His 3 race spring there was the best to ever come through. On Thorograph, he ran off the page, and no horse has been as popular by a mile this decade. I guarantee any poll among the locals would have him way out in front as the best of the last 20 years.

Revved Up won the 150K Heath Turf Cup 3 years in a row at CRC at ages 7, 8, and 9 .. each time giving weight to pretty respectable horses like Silver Tree, Magic Mecke, and Soldier's Dancer. I'd give Gold Mover an edge ... but only a slim one. |

* Burning Roma (4-2-2-0) Beat Volponi in the Med Cup - Volponi romped in the BC Classic next time out. Won the Alysheba by 6 with a big number. 2nd to Volponi in the Pegasus. 2nd on the turf in the John Henry * Diamond Stripes (2-for-2) won both the Pegasus and the Meadowlands Cup. * North East Bound won both the Meadowland's Cup and Cliffhanger. Pretty cool horse. * Tap Day (3-for-4) won the Med Cup and the Princeton * Slam Bammy (5-4-1-0) Won the Ellio at 11/1 odds. Won the Rutgers. Took a pair of ALW races at 4/1 and 15/1 - and was 2nd in the Rutgers to Joey P. the only time he ever was beaten at MED. |

but for Great Lakes Downs .. Secret Romeo won 14 of 25 at GLD with a slew of 2nd's and banked almost 500K. Pretty salty horse. Was 2nd to Bonapaw in the Arlington Handicap, beat Chindi before - was 2nd to fellow Michigan bred Above The Wind in one of his 3 Pelican Scores. |
