He was the most crazed gambler I ever met or knew. Did you go to the races back then?
Some....

I didn't know about this until today. Maybe you did. Don't have to wonder if he's getting out anymore.

He was a nice guy(evidently was trying to help other inmates a little too much for his own good.) He was really smart. Probably not someone his keepers preferred to have around. 1 class credit short of getting through Law School. His addictive personality got him into this position. I was chronic, and he was acute.

He had the most addictive personality I've ever known.

We went to a card club in LA once. He had $50 to his name. His goal was to win three hands to start and then play from there. He puts his $50 down and wins, puts the 100 down and wins, then the 200 and wins again.

With $400 he starts to play more cautiously, but ends up walking out with around 2k!!

To make a long story short, we drive to vegas that night for the BC. He blows some of the money that night before bed and get set to play the bc card.

We end up getting out asses kicked for most of the card, but as I stewed in the hotel room, he comes up all excited in that way he could get. He ended up having like 500 wp on unbridled and scored huge.

Afterwards, he ended up getting two hookers for a few hours, played some craps for awhile and got his bankroll up to around 12,500. I begged him to quit, but of course, he gave it all back, saving just enough gas money to get us home.

From $50 to 12,500 to $0 in about 24 hours. Classic Remba.

That dude had some weird appetites man.
