I subscribe, and like it overall.
I think the magazine would do itself a favor by adding more content, and less fluff....the articles could be a little more in depth.

Also, I'm not sure what horse racing fan is interested in looking at dozens of photos of owners/rich people (many of whom you've never heard of) at parties and charity events. These aren't celebrities, they're just rich people, and why it doesn't really bother me (I too noticed the number of hot photos of this Stephanie Pine person), I'm just not sure how showcasing this "lifestyle" is really that appealing to race fans.
Judging by the advertisers, they seem to be Targeting an upscale demographic and not cater to the ordinary race fan. Just my two cents.

It is catering to the upscale, they have advertisements for $2k watches and $500 shoes, not many people roll that hard. If I had to guess, they are targeting 21-45 males with some dough

I got it to look at the pictures and read something that isn't online

that isn't surprising, being that she's featured in about 1/2 the photos in the magazine. Even if HSM folds in less than a year, maybe he can launch a successful modeling career for her.

Default May Sound Irrational.....

but anything at this point that will pump a little money into the racing world.. why not.. you get some eye candy, a smattering of good articles. Some of these magazines will end up exposing non-players to the sport, and some of them might get the bug. Whoever this person is that is taking the flyer to start this magazine, if the committed people on a special interest board like the won't make a donation, then we should just resign ourselves to gradual oblivion.

We need to draw people to the sport......just subscribed

It looks like Ocala magazine with some horse racing in it. It probably will fold within a year like most magazines, but I get the feeling losing a few dollars isn't going to hurt the guy. If I am correct he is one of the party guys in the Palm Beach scene. This might be his first job.
