Kev, I last seen Velez on the back of a Milk Carton. He'll find the winner's circle soon especially on the turf where he seems to do his best work.

Tampa Bay Downs

Spot Plays - Turf Only

R5 - #1 Provocative - Has a new home, returns to the lawn, and picks up hot jock. Also, like the fact that she's had 5 workouts at Goldmark since her last race on 11/22/08. One can agrue that this is a easier bunch than she faced in New Jersery over the summer. Demand some value 4-1 or better.

R7 - Divine Wonder - Better on turf and owns a win on this course. He's been in for a tag before, so the drop does not scare me.

R9 - #9 How to Know - Paco reunites and the mile seems like a better fit. Don't like that he doesn't have a published work since his last race on Thanksgiving Day at FG. 5-1 or better and he's worth a play.

Good Racing Luck

9th race...IF the 1 & 6 burn each other out which appears likely, the 4 - Marshala should pick up the pieces late and win.

$10 win on the 4

Hey Bigs....I keep hearing Grunder talk about The Silks Card Room opens at 12:30 everyday. Can you see and wager on the races from that part of the clubhouse?

Should be able to do both. I will go up there and check it out Friday. The old card room had tv's, but the windows were right outside the door. I haven't wandered into the new one yet.
