Thanks mclem! Was thinking of playing a heavy exacta in the race as well, but didn't want to play it blindly. I will shoot for a pricey horse one of these days, I just feel like a chalk eating weasel when I go with the faves.

Put me in the chalk eater catergory too. I took Squeeze Me Tight too, but it didn't seem like an easy choice. The top 3 seemed inseparable and that's the way they came in. Next race should be a little harder with a bigger field. That is, if you play the 5th.

my sister's still in amazingly (she's new and learning, so helping her pick out the top 3-4 of the day, then she decides from there).... had Ginobili, after switched due to scratch.

Well, what with 3 different flights, changing 6 times zones, and the adventure of finding a hotel on the far side of the island after dark, I didn't get my pick in the first day. But amazingly enough, I am still alive at Meadowlands (no racing on Sunday so I could get somewhat adjusted in time to figure out when I needed to get my picks in).
