Think about how enjoyable it will be to hear him again this year choking on humble pie week after week as the Munsters of Indiana streak out to a 1-7 start to the season. When that time of the season rolls around, he'll have to resort to recapping how Brady Quinn worked more miracles at Notre Dame than Touchdown Jesus.

Everything I said in this thread has been very un-biased. I did not say that Brady Quinn was already the 2nd coming of Joe Montana, I just said he did good in his first chance in the NFL. Then it got turned into this. I like how you guys are just like Mark May and say ND will start the season 1-7. My only prediction is that they WILL beat Michigan this year.

Ok, well ND plays the #1 team in the nation to top lsu's #2 ranked opponent, and ND plays #5 Michigan to top lsu's #9 opponent.

So what? They won't win those games and those are probably the only tough games on their schedule. LOL

Already judged as one of the finest at reading prevent defenses.

Innate ability to see 5 yards downfield is simply remarkable.

Wink face the facts nd is overrated

Same thing year in and year out from you nd fans. We play michigan and usc. Yeah you do and every year they beat you. After usc kicks your ass again, then you get your cupcakes. Duke there is a real college powerhouse. So get off your high horse and your nd tradition. How long has it been since you were national champs? By the way lsu plays in one of the toughest conferences year in and year out. You oh yeah, you think your so good that you don't need to be in a conference. Grow up join the big ten and see how you would really do and also not have nbc give you so much money so we can see all your games every week and hear how your so good and barely finished 500 and make a bowl game. Then if were lucky, you only pick a bowl game thats worthy of you. Can't be a minor bowl, nd's too good for them. You and quinn both need to grow up. It would be so great if duke were to beat you. The party in durham would be historic!

Let me start by saying that I am not a Notre Dame fan (although I was a Joe Montana fan). But can anyone say that their school would turn down the television deal that Notre Dame got? Maybe they do get overexposed when their team isn't doing that well....

Brady Quinn did well in mop up duty. Good for him. Now, he has to work his way up the depth chart and, hopefully for his fans, he does well while doing that. A lot of rookie quarterbacks have looked terrible going up against third and fourth team players. Remember, these guys are still trying to make big plays so they make the team, so it isn't risk-free for the quarterback going against them. It's the first step. He did well.

Ok, I will never respond to a sports thread from you again, seeing how you are a women and when women try to speak sports, it should go in one ear and out the other, face it, females do not and i mean, do NOT know sports. Women go to games just to cheer, and really don't know or care about what is going on.

Smile so what

Michigan like nd is another team that is always overrated. You better beat them once in awhile, or else who would go see the game. Its gonna be another yawner this year. I can't wait till wisconsin gets michigan. Do college football a favor, since you will not join a real conference, go down a division and play teams that like you we don't care about! By the way gets use to hearing these words: quinn goes down, another interception thrown by quinn, look at quinn on the bench and my favorite quinn just another example of an overrated nd quarterback! When you go to a game ask clausen if he can pick you up some alcohol after the nd loss!

Cool Another thing don't be a woman hater!

Just because she is a woman doesn't me she doesn't know nothing about sports. Get off your highhorse. Obviously she knows nd sucks so already she knows more than you do! She has a right to her opinion and yea you too. Even though its gets so old hearing about the great quinn and nd. Enjoy your 500 season and watching quinn holding the clipboard and don't be woman hating. Just admit it, your jealous that a woman knows more about sports than you.

There are plenty of things I know very little about... college football isn't one of them.

You act like a typical Irish fan... I have to meet one who can look at their team in a logical, unbiased way.

my first chance to re-visit this thread. way to go WAY off topic there ndman. what a ridiculous thing to say, and very 15th century....i know sports, especially football.

oh wait...i know. you're one of those cavemen from the geico ads, right? here i thought that was just make-up.
