I think I will play E-40 with Starbase, if I have to.

I never agreed with that assessment! You and I liked this horse since the Tampa Bay Derby.

I'll be kicking myself for a few hours about screwing up on the post time, however

I said that before he bombed in the Arkansas Derby. Surely you realize assessments are on a race by race basis. I used him today, but with Officer Rocker...who can't run a step, as obviously I pitched the worst 3:5 shot in history. Think about it.....Cowtown Rat was a shorter price than Fabulous Strike.

I just retired from 30 yrs of teaching yesterday, so I have now have plenty of time to check out the threads daily! And also, am thinking about hitting 'Toga this summer - would love to meet up with all the DT'ers!

"bombed" may be a bit strong. Delightful Kiss missed 2nd by 1.5 lengths in the Ark Derby. Granted there was that additional 10 lengths up to Curlin in 1st!

What made you use Delightful Kiss today? I didn't think that his May 4 turf race was that inspiring. If you didn't like him before the Ark Derby, and "he bombed" in that one, what made him playable for you today? (not a rhetorical question--I'm genuinely interested.)

I absolutely agree re Cowtown Cat's 3-5 being one for the ages. The fact that Cowtown Cat went off at 3-5 should end the discussion about whether this game is beatable. What exactly was CC's excuse for finishing 52 lenghths behind the winner in the Ky Derby?

Indians will win the World Series

Cavs will go to the NBA finals

Browns will finish 9 and 7 and get the wild card

Thistledown will have a great Ohio Derby.

The state of Cleveland sports is good right now.

Morty doesn't look quite as cute as that guy in person.....or so I've heard.

I've had many a good Ohio Derby....

Not sure if I ever have had a great one.

Except for last year---I always tried to catch the Ohio Derby and Fort Erie's Prince of Wales Stakes in person.

I didn't know you were allowed in person.

Aren't you on permanent surrogate DrugS appearances only?
