Hey, Gary ... you can't get a decent sfogliatella in Iowa ... stay home !!!

The inevitable march to Horse Of The Year ... starts to get serious.
A weak bunch?

Excuse me Bold but Invasor is a TRIPLE CROWN WINNER and HORSE OF THE YEAR. Oh and he DID win the Pimlico Special.

I agree and don't think Sun King shows up in this one.

Oooh ... oooh ... oooh ... Uruguay ... the Turkey of South America.

Is this the same horse who couldn't win in Dubai?

Let's move on from this past Horse-of-the-Year-July 1-June 30-if-that's-a-real-year ... and concentrate on the next real Horse-Of-The-Calendar-Year-2006 ... Mayan King!

(Yes ... you've been spotted ... and tagged ... just go to the "General" section of this Forum ... and look at the "Demographics" thread.)

I've been spotted? I signed my name for God sake. AND I just posted on the thread you mentioned.

Let's drop the bull****, okay?

What about the Pimlico Special, Bold? Seriously..... how did he look to you? Any potential there from the Nathan's-Clam-whatever- in-the-cold-at-Aqueduct-I-thought-I-knew-the-story-by-heart-but-guess-I-don't capital of the world?

C'mon, admit it..... he DID look good. Right?

Very professional performance by Invasor ...

... he didn't beat much ... but he did it easily and with style.

He'll be a worthy opponent for Mayan King in the Jockey Club Gold Cup ... a defeated opponent ... but a worthy one nonetheless.

Invasor is obviously a very nice colt. We must remember that being from the southern hemisphere, he actually turned 4 today. Two G1s since his third place finish 7 lengths behind Discreet Cat in the Dubai Derby should really flatter DS....Now when the hell will he run again.

The Godolphin horse who was second to Discreet Cat in Dubau totally bombed in the Peter Pan. The UAE Derby is looking more and more like a throw-out, especially when you consider that the two most-fancied horses, Simpatico Bribon and the Gold for Sale (each of whom had won their preps impressively) were drugged. Trainer so astonished at how they ran that he had them both tested, came up positive for Valium.

In my opinion Invasor is now the top horse in the country. He could have won that race by 10 if he wanted to.

You sound like you are so right, Exceller.
What happened?
Did your guinea pig die and stop listening to you or was it your gerbil?
10 lengths...right...now that those little critters are dead, you need someone to listen to your rantings.
Thanks for your insight.
10 lengths, indeed.
Time to buy a hampster at your local pet shop...you'll have something that listens.

RIP, Piggy and Gerby.
