Looks like the Wildcats will make a nice little offer.

What's up bud? Hadn't been on here in a while. Sorry I didn't hit you back a few monthes ago. I'm back and doing well. Still livin' and learnin'. Anyway, just wanted to toss my feelings on the matter.

I think Billy will be in Lexington sighing his deal by the end of next week, like Wed. or Thurs. Just a feeling, there's way too much chatter out there from him buying property a few weeks back to his own comments on how he is focused on the task at hand. I think they will offer more than Fla. no matter what it is. I was thinking 3 mil would get it done, with the bonuses and not to mention local and national endorsments. He will probably stand to make NBA money when all is said and done. 4 mil or so.

What I don't understand is why UK hired a search firm?

I would say that would make me think he's going to the NBA.

In my opinion and many others the search firm is a quiet way to look at plan B candidates if Billy doesn't take the job. I believe Barnhart is 90% sure at least of who the new coach will be. I don't believe we started looking the day Tubby left. I think this process started long ago. The search firm we hired is the same search firm that contacted Minnesota 6-7 weeks ago about Tubby. Had Mitch had no knowledge Tubby was leaving until it happened I don't believe he would be happy at all. Basically what I'm saying is I don't believe Mitch would hire the same firm that placed Tubby at another school without his knowledge. I believe Mitch knew about this long ago. This is just my humble opinion.
