I tell you who needs to be fined here is the Arlington Stewards for not immediately putting up the inquiry sign. What were they thinking or not thinking.

I assumed some of that was the left handed whip. I saw something from the side, but I wasn't sure right away what had caused Real Solution to end up slipping back a bit. It looked like he was gonna go by at first. When they ran the head on, it was a 'ooooh, yup, DQ.' It wasn't just bumping, it was The Apache deciding that the middle of the track was really where all the cool kids trying to avoid the whip were going.

Optimizer finished second in that race and then finished a weakened 5th in the Man O War. I believe Real Solution would have beat POE in the Manhattan if it weren't for the yielding surface.

Real Solution is a very nice horse, but he's no Point of Entry.

Has one sire's progeny ever won three G1 races on the same day before Kitten's Joy did it yesterday?

it's painful when he's on your ticket, but it was the right call.

Ran through the pics from yesterday and handpicked a few, I took the Million race shot as my height was an advantage in the crowd, my better half took the rest.

Dank

Pretty interesting to see SAF connections agreeing with the DQ.

IMO, if the race was held in Europe, he would have not been taken down, but here, it was almost an automatic.

The screen excuse is laughable though.

When I read the screen comment from the jockey I was like "why would you keep hitting him left-handed then?" Sporting comments from DeKock. Fantastic race, though the Beverly D. was probably my favorite of the day.

To bad the jock didn't lose his whip earlier!
