Just playing along to see how I would have done. If any good, I might print up and send in attached to resume to DRF to become new resident 'capper. That is, if someone already hasn't nailed down the position.

Best of luck guys!!! Bring it home.

Since the NFL wildcard weekend is ready to kick off today and the College Bowl Season is coming to a closure. I'll approach the 12 races as if were a football game. I'll break it into 4 quarters and stick to my game plan throughout the 1st quarter (1st 3 races). Depending on where I stand after the 1st quarter, I'll make my adjustment accordingly. Towards the end I have 3 hail mary plays (All 20-1 ML) in hopes to get me back into contention (Contest R10 - GP R7 #9 Just Julian - 1/2 to Golden Missile has been disappointing in his career, but is capable of lighting up the tote board if he is able to duplicate his Delaware Park effort three back.) (Contest R11 - GP R8 - #13 Bullsbay - is in career top form and looks ready for a peak performance.) (Contest R12 - SA R4 - #3 Digital Magic - 1st time starter for the Southern Equine Stable by Grand Slam shows a long string of nice works.) as long as I can recover the on-side kicks. The competition will be fierce.

Good Luck to those playing.

WOW, AFTER THAT CONTEST, I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN HIT BY A TRUCK! TOTALLY SPENT. I WAS 19TH WITH 3 RACES TO GO. I ONLY HAD 1 ENTRY AS WELL, MOST OF THE QUALIFIERS HAD 2. SO WITH 3 RACES TO GO I HAD ZEROED IN ON DELIGHTFUL KISS IN THE HALS HOPE. BUT SWITCHED THE PICK WITH 2 MINUTES TO GO! SO TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, I MISSED GOING TO VEGAS BY $4.40, AND I ENDED UP IN 31ST PLACE. GOT MY 250 BACK, BUT MISSED THE SHORT PUTT WITH 3 HOLES TO GO!

Thats a tough beat! But you gotta love these contests especially if you are in contention. 250 bucks is too steep for me for entering a contest. 100 dollars is maximum for me. I cant wait till the Lone Star Qualifiers to start in Feb. cause they dont have the stupid $2 W/P wagers instead they have 12 wagers with 4 Ex, 4 WPS, 2 TRI, 2 Supers

Beast, congrats on your nice run.

My selections were brutal pretty much all day and it shows in my placing. I usually never second guess myself and in this contest I mulled over some nice winners, but never pulled the trigger. I enjoyed it and would consider participating again.
