He is far better looking than PG. He still looks and moves like a grass horse to me.

Grass horse? You kidding me? He ran nothing like a grass horse in the Lanes End. He does not have a quick turn of foot as you would need in a grass race but he does have a nice long stride. If he does decide to go on grass, I would put him nothing shorter than a mile and a half

Tell that nonsense to the horses he SMOKED on the turf at Gulfstream on January 11 at 1 1/16 miles. Honestly, have you ever looked at the horse's PP's? One polytrack win and all of a sudden he's no longer a grass horse?

Only difference between that turf race and his poly track win was that one is NW1 ALW and the other is a G II.

Me either. He could be a legit grass/poly horse but he'll be ruined if he runs in the derby.

i don't think it'll ruin him, but i think it's a mistake to run him in the derby.
like they say, you need the right tools for the job-i don't think he's suited to the dirt surface.

He's gonna freak out so bad with the crowds that who knows what could happen.

The comparisons in this thread make me laugh.. Barbaro, Point Given. Wouldn't Sedgefield be the relevant and accurate comparison?

He's probably better than Sedgefield but I agree - the comparisons are pretty absurd.

I don't know. I think running second to Hard Spun is more impressive than beating a wide Halo Najib.

He's working Sunday at CD.

I'll be there watching and hopefully get a video up.

Oh for the love of GRITS.
Really? He has yet to prove he is as good as Point Given?
Interesting.
Just so you know, my grandma also hasn't proven yet that she is as good in the 100 meters as Carl Lewis.

Sedgefield is barely a high level claimer.

Oh, and Adriano's a legend..

As I said, I'll take a horse that ran second to Hard Spun and fifth in the Derby over a horse that beat a six-wide Halo Najib and got crushed in the Fountain of Youth..
