Amazing isn't it.

I went for Freedman's import. The whole time thinking I'll kick myself if Bart wins again.

I don't know how Cummings does it, I didn't think that 3 yr old had a chance to win and at best he was a prospect to hit the board. I wonder if he can keep this up in the Melbourne Cup, probably one of his more unheralded horses will win and it wouldn't surprise me if he does it again.

After last weekend's diasterous punting I more than made up for it at the Valley at the weekend, and it could have been so much better!

Started badly in the 2yo race (here we go again)
Not much luck for the first few (forgot about Ringrangdoo and by the time I fought through the crowds it was too late!)
Took the decision that Apache had everything in his favour, a strong pace likely, back to 1200m and back at the Valley....... $200 at $3.50. He probably was slightly fortunate, as a couple of horses could have easily held their ground or took up the rail run before he nosed through.

Irazu was a horse i'd been tipped a long time ago for this and I knew he'd be a big price. $50 ew at $26 for the win and $6.50 for the place. Another few strides he would have won. Watch for him at Flemington if he gets a run!

Roll on Cox Plate....... didn't like Whobegotyou at all here, older horses all had 59kgs, so I sided against those. All that was left were the 3yo's. I didn't like Manhattan Rain, so It was left for a small ew bet on Bart. $20 ew So You Think at $13.

Then it got annoying again. As I sat there, they were coming out onto the track for the last. I said I'd pick a horse without bothering to walk a fair distance to have a bet. "lady lynette" I said. Bloody thing won paying $7....... gutted.

Brilliant day though and couldn't have asked for better weather

Or the only other Trainer that is even close to Cummings is Lee Freedman a 4 time winner himself.

Great day at Flemington today, unfortunately I can't be there (but nothing is stopping me from going on Tuesday!)

I'm also giving Cima De Triomphe once last chance today.

The Comedian in the first will be very hard to beat.

Run For Naara is (as far as I'm concerned) the best filly in the country right now.

Derby looks like a bit of a puzzle, but if they go really hard, Extra Zero could surprise when coming home hard and fast.

I was with the guy who bred Zarita yesterday and he seemed pretty keen on her chances.

Irazu will be another big bet for me, he's in great form at home.

Shamoline has been scratched.

The Comedian was dreadful, all the guys from Tyreel came down today as well. They were expecting a big show. A whole host of good judges own him, including a vet from back home in Newmarket and Demi O'Bryne himself

The Comedian owes me after that terrible performance.

Shocking looked good in the Lexus, I think Run For Naara might romp in the Wakeful coming up next.

Backing the Dubawi first timer at Rosehill in the opener.
