I dont know how it is for the older generations, but sex is kinda like brushing your teeth for the younger generations. The #'s and %'s are only getting worse. Maybe it has something to do with religion having less and less influence on the American generations, but it could just be TV & entertainment.
I dont know a single man who even feels close to that. Why would anybody who felt that way even bother with getting married in the first place?

By "wrap it up," of course, Scavs means dressing like a pimp on Derby day. That's a sure fire way to gain access into a lady's nether-regions.

Just too much, the one picture on the BC Vaca thread pretty much explains it all.

They could do a reality show with a cast of like a dozen just based on all the girls who have come forward who have rendez-vous'ed with Tiger. Rock of Tiger, anyone?

I would expect men who marry in their 30's and older to be more ready for marriage and the commitment.. maybe more like 40% of them.

I doubt the percentage of serial cheaters is too too high.. maybe 15% cheat whenever they get the chance and are always looking for the next one.

Women would be opposite though.. I would guess 30-50% of women have cheated at some point.. but I would expect older women to cheat more than younger women.

People get used to the relationship, they have children.. settle into the family life.. only getting laid by their spouse a few times a year cause the "spark" is gone.. and when someone else showers them with affection, people do the wrong thing. Some couples are married for a LONG LONG time..

I'm all for open marraiges or relationships or whatever.. as long as both people are completely okay with it and it doesnt get out of control.
maybe tony and i are the exception, but you couldn't be further from the truth there. and yes, it's a shame that some couples fall into that-or the wife tells hubby she isn't interested anymore, or vice versa. but there are plenty of us out there who treat our husbands like kings, and they treat us like queens. and it's GREAT. i wouldn't give up tony for anything, ever. we make sure we keep each other first.

Unlike most celebrities that sleep with a ton of women before they eventually get married, Tiger did not. Tiger was probably with a total of 2-3 girls before he got married. Most of these celebrities sleep with so many women that it finally gets old and they are ready to settle down. As far as I know, Tiger didn't sleep around at all before he got married. He had that one girlfriend at college who he was with for several years. I believe he started dating Elin relatively soon after this.

I used to go to Las Vegas alot in the 1990s. Tiger was there all the time because he was taking lessons from Butch Harmon (who is based in Vegas) at the time. Tiger was single at the time and would sometimes go out with his friends to clubs. He would talk to girls but he would never go home with any of them. While guys like Charles Barkley would go home with a different girl every night, Tiger would never do that.

Tiger's father was alive at the time and I think he always warned Tiger to be really careful and stay out of trouble.

So Tiger never really had the crazy escapades of most of these celebrities and athletes. Now years later, he probably started to get a little bored and he probably saw a high percentage of his peers cheating while out on the road and he started doing the same thing.

Rupert, so you are justifying this behavior. Life is not about how many people you've slept with. No one forced him to get married. The guy is scum in my book. And from what I hear a shoddy tipper as well. Bad signs.

That makes him a dumb ass. He could have had all that action at Stanford, then while he was single girls first few years on the tour, all guilt free and not hurting anyone. So he refuses to get laid when most people do (in college and early 20's) and wont cheat on his college girlfriend, but instead decides to get married and become disloyal to his wife instead, sleeping with four times as many women while hes married than when single....BRILLIANT!

Funny story from the Andre Agassi book about Pete Sampras... Andre and then coach Brad Gilbert were in a restaurant in California and watched as Pete Sampras left the restaurant waiting for the valet to bring him his car. After he drives away, Andre and Brad decide to make a bet on how much money Pete tipped the valet. Brad says I bet that cheap SOB only left him
$5. Andre gulps, and says to Brad, "the guy has made 40 million in prize money. He had to leave him at least $10." So they wander outside and ask the valet the amount Pete left and the valet confesses Pete left him $1. Brad won the bet.

So basically the guy sacrificed his youth for the sake of getting where he wanted to be in his career. Now that he's made it huge, he sacrificed his wife and children for the sake of making up those lost years. Sounds pretty selfish to me.

Nope, never been, but you mean to tell me they dont have any attractive women their, that would be willing to shack up with the world's most interesting golf prodigy? I fnd it hard to believe Tiger couldnt do well at Stanford. I have seen some of the women on the Stanford athletic teams and they are a lot better than the girls I went to college with.

I don't get why more male athletes don't just do the Jeter thing and remain single in perpetuity.

Maybe the rumor around campus was that he genetic make up was more from his mothers side than his father.

As I said, I think his dad put a lot of pressure on him to stay out of trouble. He told him not to be like these other athletes that are sleeping around and getting stories written about them in all the tabloids. At the time, Tiger really did need to be very careful. He was building up his image and his reputation and he was getting all of those endorsement deals. He was really forced to grow up very early.
