We'll see.

Here are what people chose:

Top 15 ShowVivor Contest Favorites: Thursday April 19th

6 people selected #03 Stormberg in race 2
2 people selected #07 Courtside in race 7
2 people selected #03 Arinyes Love in race 5
2 people selected #01 Outperform in race 3
1 person selected #03 Saddleranch in race 7
1 person selected #07 H. J.'s Kitty in race 5
1 person selected #01 Cheese Danish in race 5

Best of luck pal, if stormberg goes south 6 are out....hang in there...

egads, I made it. (Cheese Danish finished 2nd to the horse I should have chosen if I was going to pick from that race!). Regardless, it was an awful pick. I feel like I've been given a gift by not being eliminated.

One player has been knocked out already. 3 more have picks in the 7th.

Thanks for the cheering!

PLAYERS STILL IN: 12
PLAYERS OUT: 6559
TOTAL PLAYERS: 6571

A total of 3 players were knocked out today, leaving 12 of us.

Tomorrow is Day 29, and I'm looking at Blingo in the 5-horse 7th race.

Default Sanata Anita showvivor March 2nd

12 people have successfully run a 28-horse show parlay? That's sick. With only 3 days left, how do you stand on the tiebreaker situation, Dunbar?

Break a leg! (I mean, good luck!)

2 scratches in the 1st race leave just 4 horses, but I absolutely can't decide which one is going to lose. a-mile-and-sixteenth on dirt, and most of the PP's are turf, synthetic, or slop. Looking at the few dirt non-sprints, and it seems pretty even to me.

Sticking with Blingo in the 7th, though not thrilled with her single dirt race to draw on, either. Gave a lot of thought to Antidote in the 7-horse 5th race.

Thanks for the good wishes.

Mike, it's not really a 28-race show parlay. In my case, it's 24 races because there was no show wagering on 4 of my "winners". My tiebreaker potential is not awful. I just hope I'm there at the end to find out.

Dodged a bullet...Antidote didn't finish in the top 3.

Here's what people had/have today:

5 people selected #02 Blingo in race 7
4 people selected #05 Blu Jon in race 1
2 people selected #01 World Renowned in race 1
1 person selected #05 Love My Way in race 2

2 were knocked out in the 4-horse 1st race. There are 5 of us waiting to see if Blingo comes through. So tomorrow there will either be 5 players left or 10 players left.

Thanks, mmsc & A!

My penultimate (I hope) Showvivor decision is Ultimate Decision, the heavy fav in the 2nd race. The horse seems way too good to be offered in a $20K claimer, and that makes me nervous. Why is O'Neill offering him up so cheaply? But 5 horses and Eswan Flores aboard are very big pluses.

Only 3 of us on Ultimate Decision. I'm surprised how spread out the picks are:

3 people selected #05 Ultimate Decision in race 2
2 people selected #07 Designer in race 6
2 people selected #07 Irish Art in race 5
2 people selected #05 Compari in race 5
1 person selected #01 Special Kid in race 2

thanks, IK. I really don't want to screw up today. Pending scratch info, I'm either going with Lady Ten in 6-horse 1st race or Let's Get Crackin' in 5-horse 2nd race. Either way, I won't have to sweat long!

If I make it through today, we'll see whether a $3.40 show payoff is worth anything in the tiebreaker.

Guess again. I switched from Lady Ten to Meadow Road (4th race) at the last minute.

Lady Ten finished 2nd. I could have been home free already!

Oddly, of the 3 horses I was struggling to make my choice from, only 1 other person chose any of them:

3 people selected #04 Gun Boat in race 2
2 people selected #02 Meadow Road in race 4
1 person selected #02 Bourbon Bay in race 9
1 person selected #05 Soi Phet in race 8
1 person selected #04 Deity in race 3
