It is pointless to try but we all do it. It is usually (add some liberal comment from a blog, huffington, etc) then deflect the original question, post some liberal link, deflect again. Obama is great, GOP is the devil, more government, obamacare is the greatest thing ever, Down with the GOP. I used to be a republican, deflect again. You are stupid. I am the smartest person ever and I know more than you. Repeat.

I suggested it was unfair to the USA to compare this country with then un-named countries you referred to. You said first world (an antique of a term if ever there was one). I asked about population and the issues facing each nation and how any comparison could be made fairly and you replied that we are not first in anything. I ask you to show me a country that spends more, to prove YOUR point,on its poor and I get your last post as a response.
My point is proven, you are impossible to debate with, as others have pointed out many times.
My point was about the difference between the GOP and the Dems political platforms.

If you don't think America should be in the 21st century like the other big countries, you might try stating why you don't agree, and you might provide some support for your differing opinion.

The small countries cannot afford it. Neither can we.
Cooking the books is not an option.
Taxing the corporations into the Earth is not a viable option (especially the way things are in the world). They do not PAY taxes, they collect them, guess from whom they collect them?
