If The Tin Man runs sets those splits in the Arlington Million, or any other race with the likes of English Channel and Cacique in there....they both run by him like he was standing still.

I agree with Richi...a gutsy effort, not his A game, but all out to hold off TH Approval and Artiste Royal is not the kind of effort you are looking for going into the BC. But, he is 8YO and he has to be getting tired after the year he has had. Even if he finishes off the board in the BC Turf, he has nothing to be ashamed of this year.

Just watched the race. The tin man is the pace setter. He is going to try to slow the race down as much as possible and succeeds.

Time doesnt make much of a difference in turf races and thats why beyers on turf are so unreliable.

He did what he had to do to win. its as simple as that.

I wouldnt bet him in the BC or anything. Im not saying that he is the best horse in the country. But im not ready to say that he is slower than Wait awhile on the basis of time in two different races.

The biggest mistake in racing has been made by Dallas Stewart -- and the mistake is not running Lemons Forever on the turf. She took care of Wait A While in the Kentucky Oaks and has a great turf pedigree.

I'm not knocking Wait A While, she's spectacular, but Dallas Stewart could have done the same with Lemons Forever.

Yeah, that was some all-star field she beat. Dancing Edie, Live Life, Sohgol, that's right up there with Ouija Board, Alexandrova, Mandesha and Gorella.

Lets calm down guys. There wasn't much in this race IMO and I am actually really happy she won the way she did because she will be an underlay BC day and I was tossing her, unless the field is crazy weak

Blah blah blah. Same story. Any horse that doesn't come through for you when you bet it sucks.
