But how about a little respect for what the filly just did? 13 hole, on the pace every step of the way. She ran her eyeballs out.
No kidding. J.V. was not going to hand that race over to her.

That's pretty embarrassing, pushing her out late in the 1st turn and on the backstretch like he did, but, then again, Johnny V stopped riding anywhere near the rail years ago.

Yeah I saw that right away, but it should have been expected. She showed the boys how to run like a girl!!!!

This race cleared things up quite a bit unlike
the Derby.

People need to cut this "she didn't handle the track" BS out right quick. Only thing worse than making excuses when you lose is making excuses when you win.

That was a great performance. And if the filly hadn't been there today, he'd be going for the TC with a massive chance of doing it. This is the horse I laughed at a couple of weeks ago.

He'll be hard to beat in the Belmont.

Please. The guy race-rode the whole damn field out of the gate.

Both horses ran great. Very enjoyable race.

Musket Man also should get some credit too. I keep tossing him and he keeps cashing checks.

He's really honest but had a perfect trip today as well, scooted right up the rail.

All three of them....RA, MTB & MM ran a very nice race. This was the first time I ever tried a box and did it with 2. 3. 13. It was worth 108.00 on my $6 bet.

This is what is commonly referred to as a redboard around here.

I think it is still beginner luck. To be honest I didn't know how much I won til I cashed it. I have always just bet a horse to win.

She ran well, but she's gonna get all of the press and it was more expected that she'd run well. Just wanted to give some burn to the Derby winner no one respected.

Nah, he would've caught her. And it's not a moot point considering the trip he had, it's worth mentioning.

I think considering the Belmont field is usually a bit smaller, and considering because of the length of the race, the field will be more spread out maybe, Mine That Bird will have less of a probability of getting stuck in traffic or getting caught too wide.

i thought the belmont wasn't necessarily kind to closers? a lot of people seem to think it would be, due to distance...but isn't it usually won by stalkers?
