I met them when we all were on "pickets" in 1973 grocery strike in SoCal!
I don't think they all died... just probably retired and went back home. We played cards and I listened to all their stories...cracking up...they were from the Meatcutters Union....which is all but dissolved into the Clerks' Union! That's prolly more info than you wanted to know
